An adult male Redstart was by the bird table this evening. A Black-tailed Godwit and a Green Sandpiper were on the Slurry Lagoon. MC.

Green Sandpiper – 7th August
This morning a Green Sandpiper was on the Slurry Lagoon, with two Lapwings and seven Egyptian Geese. SCw.
Yellow Wagtail – 29th July
This afternoon four Yellow Wagtails – three of them juveniles – were on the Ecopark. A Green Sandpiper was seen flying low over the Slurry Lagoon. IEP.
Little Ringed Plover – 25th April
This morning a Little Ringed Plover was calling on the Ecopark. There was an Arctic Tern along the river and Deep Pit. A Green Sandpiper was over the river in the field with 2 Shelducks. A House Martin was over the Deep Pit and a Kingfisher was on the river near the bridge with a Grey Wagtail. A couple of Lesser Whitethroat were singing on site and a Cuckoo was in the Haven/Large Gravel Pit area. IEP.
Tawny Mining Bee – 6th April
This morning the two Willow Warblers were both singing from the same spots as yesterday. There were at least twenty Tawny Mining Bees sunning themselves on the posts along the Causeway. PS.


In the afternoon a female Marsh Harrier was seen hunting over the Slurry Lagoon , also seen were a displaying Little Ringed Plover, a Green Sandpiper and Jacksnipe. MC.

Green Sandpiper – 31st March
This evening a Green Sandpiper was seen on the flash, across the river. JDn.
Hobby – June 23rd
This morning a Hobby was seen being mobbed by a Carrion Crow, over the dry end of the Slurry Lagoon. There were two Lesser Whitethroats singing and Meadow Browns and Ringlets were flying. Also seen were Emperor Dragonflies and Black-tailed Skimmers, several Small Tortoiseshells, Red Admirals and a Brimstone. PS.
In the evening a Green Sandpiper was seen on the Eco-park. JMD.
Lesser Whitethroat – 29th April
There was a Green Sandpiper and two Little Ringed Plovers on the Ecopark. A Grasshopper Warbler and a Lesser Whitethroat were near the corner of the Deep Pit, beside the Large Gravel Pit. IEP.
Wheatear – 19th April
This afternoon there was a Wheatear on the Eco Park, two lovely Hares, one Shelduck, Lapwing, Green Sandpiper – all on the Eco Park area. SC/ PG.
Treecreeper – 17th April
This morning a pair of Treecreepers was seen in the willows near the footbridge. Also seen was a Whitethroat and a Green Woodpecker. RJP.
In the afternoon there was a Yellow Wagtail and two Green Sandpipers on the Eco-park. JDn.
There was also a report of two Little Gulls and a Marsh Harrier flying through during the day. DM.
