This morning an immature Spoonbill flew over the site. A Grasshopper Warbler was heard in the Slurry Lagoon reed-bed and a Stoat was seen on the Causeway path. JV.

Today a Marsh Harrier and two Red Kites were seen over the site. MC.
This morning, during the Bird Count, there was a Little Ringed Plover, a Green Sandpiper and two Shelducks on the Eco-park. Across the river another Little Ringed Plover and a Great White Egret were seen. NWG.
This morning there were four Willow Warblers singing and a Sedge Warbler was singing at the back of the Large Gravel Pit. The site seemed to be awash with Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs. PS.
A Sedge Warbler was singing in the Haven this morning. There were also eight singing Willow Warblers and six singing Blackcaps. Two Oystercatchers were on the Wader Scrape. PS.
In the afternoon two Yellow Wagtails were on the Wader Scrape. SC.
This afternoon a Lesser Whitethroat was heard singing and seen near the Haven. There were at least four Sedge Warblers in and on the Wader Scrape were four Little Ringed Plover and a Green Sandpiper. Briefly a Yellow Wagtail was also on the Wader Scrape and a White Wagtail and Meadow Pipit. JMD. PS. RW.
This morning was cold and overcast and did not encourage birds to sing. There were still 11 Chiffchaffs singing as well as 8 Blackcaps, 4 Willow Warblers, a Sedge Warbler and a Cetti’s. Two Common Terns were pursuing each other high over the site and a Sand Martin and a House Martin were briefly seen. PS.
