Early on this morning a male, eclipse Pintail and a Black-tailed Godwit were on the Slurry Lagoon and the Water Rails were performing well in front of the Causeway benches. PS.

Later on a Spoonbill and three Dunlin paid a visit. JDn.
Subsequently a Little Stint and a Wood Sandpiper were also seen. RW.
This morning, during the Bird Count, four Spoonbills flew over the site towards the SW. There were more Wigeon arriving and still some warblers about, with Chiffchaffs still abundant, but also some Blackcaps, Lesser Whitethroats and a Reed Warbler. Robins could be heard singing all over the site but Wrens and Dunnocks were keeping silent and hardly recorded. PS.
This morning an immature Spoonbill flew over the site. A Grasshopper Warbler was heard in the Slurry Lagoon reed-bed and a Stoat was seen on the Causeway path. JV.

This morning there was some migration activity as seven Swallows and five Siskins were seen flying over the site. Later, two Spoonbills flew over, towards Holme Pierrepont. Also seen were two Egyptian Geese and a flock of thirteen Stock Doves. PS.
