This morning a Raven was seen flying towards the recycling plant. The Great White Egret was seen driving two Little Egrets from the Ouse Dyke so that it could pinch their fishing spot and two Snipe flew over pursued by a 1st winter male Peregrine, and managed to get away. PS.

Bittern – 19th November
This evening, at dusk, a Bittern was seen circling the lagoons, calling, before disappearing in the gloom. A Great White Egret was seen in the field across the river. A Raven flew through and a Barn Owl was out hunting. RW.
Common Sandpiper – 30th August
This morning a flock of about 20 House Martins and 10 Sand Martins was seen above the Causeway, which also included one Swift. A Lesser Whitethroat was seen along the Causeway. On the river, near the confluence with the Poulser Brook, a Common Sandpiper was seen and a Raven flew over. PS
Raven – 14th April
This morning at Netherfield there were seven singing Willow Warblers, three singing Whitethroats, four singing Sedge Warblers and two singing Reed Warblers. A Raven was seen being mobbed by two Carrion Crows close to the railway bridge. PS.
