Today a Bearded Tit was heard calling from the Slurry Lagoon reed-bed. There were three Green Sandpipers on the EcoPark and, in the evening, about 8,000 Starlings came to roost. RW.

Siberian Chiffchaff – 6th February
Today, what was probably a Siberian Chiffchaff was seen along the Ouse Dyke. A Green Sandpiper was on the flooded Ecopark. 8,000 Starlings came to the Slurry Lagoon reed-bed, as did a Marsh Harrier. Eight Snipe and a Woodcock were also seen. RW.
Blackcap – 29th January
Two Green Sandpipers are still on the Ecopark and two Chiffchaffs and a Blackcap were seen along the Ouse Dyke. JDn.
Green Sandpiper – 29th June
This morning there were again two Green Sandpipers on the Ecopark pool. There were plenty of butterflies about, including two Small Skippers. PS.
Yesterday evening an adult Mediterranean Gull was on the Ecopark pool. RW.
