Common Sandpiper – 25th July
A Common Sandpiper was investigating the Tern platforms this afternoon.
Black-tailed Godwit – 23rd July
Seven Black-tailed Godwits were resting on the Slurry Lagoon late morning and a Common Buzzard drifted over S.T. fields.
Yellow-legged Gull – 19th July
Two adult Yellow-legged Gulls were present on the Slurry Lagoon late afternoon.
Pyramidal Orchids – 8th July
Another 21 Pyramidal Orchids were found on the north facing slope of the Deep Pit. A Hobby was the cause of a disturbance amongst the Swallows by the Railway Bridge. At least three Grasshopper Warblers were reeling around the Deep Pit. An Essex Skipper was found on the western end of the Slurry Lagoon.

Black-tailed Godwit – 5th July
A Black-tailed Godwit was on the Slurry Lagoon for most of the day. Up to four Grasshopper Warblers were reeling during the day.
Little Ringed Plover – 3rd July
Three Little Ringed Plover were on the Slurry Lagoon with the gulls and terns this afternoon.
Common Sandpipers – 2nd July
Five Common Sandpipers were seen in the Deep Pit, this afternoon.
Black-tailed Godwit – 1st July
Seven Black-tailed Godwits were present on the Slurry Lagoon late afternoon feeding and preening.

A Little Gull thought to be the same bird as yesterday was present on the Slurry Lagoon from mid afternoon until 6.45 p.m. at least
