This morning the male Pintail had moved from the Ecopark Pool to the Slurry Lagoon. Three Blackcaps were singing along the Lower Path, two Water Rails were heard, a Peregrine flew over the site and two Roe Deer were seen in the Slurry Lagoon reed-bed. PS.

Wood Sandpiper – 19th September
Today a Wood Sandpiper has been present all day on the Ecopark pool, along with Green Sandpiper, Ringed Plover and Dunlin. Three Pintail were also on the Slurry Lagoon. RW.
Earlier a lock of about forty Redpoll were seen about the site. PS.
Ruddy Shelduck – 19th January
This morning two Ruddy Shelduck were flying around above the Slurry Lagoon and a female Marsh Harrier was seen hunting over the reed-beds. Nine Egyptian Geese flew over the site and a Peregrine was on the new pylon. A Green Sandpiper was seen on the frozen Ecopark pool. PS.
Marsh Harrier – 18th January
This afternoon at least one Bearded Tit was in the Slurry Lagoon reed-bed and a Marsh Harrier was seen. Two Ruddy Shelduck were on the Ecopark pools as well as 130 Teal and a Green Sandpiper, and a Chiffchaff was along the Ouse Dyke. RW.

This morning two Ruddy Shelduck and a Green Sandpiper were seen on the ‘Ecopark’ pool. PS.
Garganey – 14th July
This evening the Garganey was still on the EcoPark pool with one Knot, two Green Sandpipers and 13 Lapwings. RW.
