Great White Egret – 11th April

This morning, during the Bird Count, there was a Little Ringed Plover, a Green Sandpiper and two Shelducks on the Eco-park. Across the river another Little Ringed Plover and a Great White Egret were seen. NWG.

Garden Warbler – 5th April

This afternoon there were three Little Ringed Plovers on the Eco-park. There was a Garden Warbler singing as well as a Willow Warbler, five Blackcaps and several Chiffchaffs. There was also what possibly was a White Wagtail on the Eco-park. IP.

Green Sandpiper – 4th April

This evening a Green Sandpiper was seen on the Eco-park. JDn

Mediterranean Gull – 13th November

This afternoon an adult Mediterranean Gull was seen on the Deep Pit. The Great White Egret was still lurking in the fields across the river and a Green Sandpiper was seen on the Eco-park. There were about 10,000 Starlings in the roost at dusk. RW.
