This afternoon two Whooper Swans were seen at the lagoons. There was a murmuration of about 10,000 Starlings and a Bearded Tit was heard at the dry end of the Slurry Lagoon. RW.
This afternoon a Black-tailed Godwit stopped off at the Slurry Lagoon for a snooze. The Peregrine was on the pylon again. JMD.
This morning a male Stonechat was on the Wader Scrape and sixty-seven Shoveler were on the Slurry Lagoon. Three Cetti’s Warblers were singing and Water Rails were heard in the reed beds. PS.
