Hobby – 15th September

September 15, 2021Recent wildlife sightings15th September, 2021, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Grey Wagtail, Hobby, Reed Warbler, SnipePete Smith

This morning there were two Snipe at the front of the reeds on the Slurry Lagoon. Three Reed Warblers were foraging near the bench and a Hobby did a couple of circuits of the lagoon in pursuit of dragonflies. There were still lots of Chiffchaffs and some Blackcaps about, and a Grey Wagtail was on the river. PS.
