This morning was very quiet at the lagoons, with the highlight being a small flock of thirteen Common Snipe being seen, flying around the Slurry Lagoon before disappearing into the reeds. A Green Sandpiper was still present on the EcoPark. PS.

Green Sandpiper – 20th December
During the Monthly Bird Count this morning a Green Sandpiper was found on the flooded end of the Ecopark. A male and a female Peregrine were seen flying together over the Slurry Lagoon and a Treecreeper was found in the willows at the riverside end of the boundary Hedge. PS.
Woodcock – 11th December
This evening, at dusk, two Woodcocks were seen, flying out to feed. During the day a Caspian Gull was seen on the recycling plant roof and two Ravens and a Green Sandpiper were also seen. RW.
