Black Silverhorn

Description
Forewing length 8 - 10mm. A dark caddis with blue tinged wings. The antennae are very long and silvery and the palps are also long, dark and hairy.
Habitat
Lakes and slow rivers.
Status and distribution
Common and often abundant throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
May to September.
