Description

Forewing 8 - 9mm. Pale brown with three dark brown bars across the wings.

Habitat

Mostly found around lakes.

Status and distribution

Commonest in the south and east of England, less common in the West Country and Wales and uncommon in Scotland. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

May to September.
