Riband Wave

Description
Wingspan 30mm. A pale creamy moth with a light dusting of darker marks and three wavy bands which show a kink towards the leading edge of the wing.
Habitat
A wide range of habitats are used, including hedgerows, woodland edge and gardens. The larvae feed in dock, bedstraws and dandelions
Status and distribution
Common and widespread in England, Wales and lowland Scotland. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
June to October.
