Description

Wingspan 15 to 19mm. A well marked and distinctive moth with very long antennae.

Habitat

Can be found in Oak or Beech woodland. The larvae feed on several species of deciduous trees.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread in England and Wales. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

July and August.
