Bramble-shoot Moth

Description
Wingspan 15 - 20mm. A grey moth with a conspicuous chestnut-brown blotch on its fore-wings.
Habitat
Woodlands and hedgerows where the food plant, bramble, grows.
Status and distribution
Common and widespread throughout England and Wales. Less so in Scotland. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
June to July.
