Description

Wingspan 9 - 13mm. A dark brown moth with two orange spots on each of the fore-wings.

Habitat

Can be found wherever Hogweed grows.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

June and July.
