Conomelus anceps

Description

Over all length 4mm. The frons is pale brown and there is a dark band, then whitish band followed by another dark band across the pronotum.

Habitat

Woodland, meadows and other damp places where the food plants, rushes (Juncus), can be found.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

June to November.
