Planthopper
Euides speciosa
Description
Over all length 5 - 7mm. A distinctive planthopper with a dark mark at the base of the wing and a sickle-shaped mark near the apex.
Habitat
Marshland and waters-edge in association with reeds and reed sweet-grass.
Status and distribution
Locally common across the south of Britain. Fairly common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
May to August.
