Mirid Bug
Dryophilocoris flavoquadrimaculatus
Description
Over all length 6 to 7mm. A slim bodied, black bug with yellow markings.
Habitat
Normally found on or near Oak. The adults and larvae feed on small insects such as aphids.
Status and distribution
Common and widespread through out England and Wales but less common in Scotland and the West Country. Common in Nottinghamshire and recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
May to June.
