Description

length 4.5 - 5.5mm. A small black bug with green legs and a flattened 2nd antennal segment.

Habitat

Often found on nettles, where it preys on small insects.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

June to October.
