Stenotus binotatus

Description

Over all length 6 - 7mm. The males are yellow or green with strong dark markings. The females are less well marked. The over all shape is nearly parallel sided.

Habitat

Dry grassland, where they adults and nymphs feed on flowering grasses.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread, especially in southern Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

June to September
