Description

Over all length 3mm. A small grey weevil with a cream mark along the joint of its elytra.

Habitat

Found on sorrels and docks.

Status and distribution

Fairly common and widespread in Britain but more common in the south than the north. Not often recorded in Nottinghamshire and recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

April to July.
