Stenopsocus immaculatus

Description

Over all length 2.5 to 3mm. Very like S. stigmaticus, but without the strong black line in the fore-wing.

Habitat

The branches of a wide range of deciduous and evergreen trees, where it feeds on sap.

Status and distribution

Fairly common and widespread through most of Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

All year.
