Description

Wingspan 9 - 11mm. Can be a variable moth but normally with a creamy-white blotch on the fore-wing.

Habitat

Unkept ground, waste ground verges and hedges where Yarrow grows.

Status and distribution

Local in the southern half of Britain. Uncommon in Nottinghamshire and recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.
