Description

Over all length 3 to 4mm. Very similar to Tingis ampliata, but found on Spear Thistle, not Creeping Thistle.

Habitat

Found on Spear Thistles. Field edges, brown field sites.

Status and distribution

Fairly common and widespread throughout Britain where Spear Thistles are growing. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

All Year.
