Nabis limbatus

Description

Over all length 7.5 - 9mm. The wings are always very short, covering no more than the second and part of the third abdominal segments. The abdomen is a lot wider than the pronotum and head.

Habitat

Damp grasslands and hedgerows where they prey on other insects.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

June to October.
