Description

Over all length 5.5 to 7.5mm. A very variable leafhopper with a sharply pointed vertex and a median keel.

Habitat

Grasslands, road verges, places where the main food plants, dandelions, nettles, thistles and grasses grow.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread in Britain. Common and widespread in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

June to October.
