Apolygus lucorum
Description
Over all length 5 - 6mm. A green leaf bug with a brown wing membrane.
Habitat
Woodland edge and hedgerows where a range of plants are its food, including tansy, nettle, hemp and especially mugwort.
Status and distribution
Common and widespread throughout Britain. Widespread in Nottinghamshire and common at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
July to October.
