Description

Over all length about 4.5mm. Subtly marked to live in grasses, mostly pale buffs and beige. The upper surface is covered in dense short hairs.

Habitat

Grassland, field edges and brown field sites.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread across southern Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

June to August.
