Knapweed Flower Bug
Oncotylus viridiflavus
Description
Over all length 5 to 6mm. A green plant bug. The black markings on the head and pronotum set it apart from any other plant bugs.
Habitat
Grassy places where Knapweed grows.
Status and distribution
Fairly common and widespread in the south of England and the Midlands. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

July to September
