Coriomeris denticulatus

Description

Over all length 9.5 - 10.5mm. Similar to a small Dock Bug, but covered with bristly hairs, especially the pronotum, antennae and legs. The side edges of the pronotum have a row of white bristles.

Habitat

Mostly dry, grassy habitats where Black Medick or other leguminous plants grow, on which they feed.

Status and distribution

Fairly common and widely distributed in England and Wales but no further north than Yorkshire. Fairly common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
