Description
Over all length 6 - 7mm. Mainly green with a dark central mark which broadens towards the scutellum.
Habitat
Various habitats where it feeds on plants of the Asteraceae family. Around the Large Gravel Pit on the reserve.
Status and distribution
Fairly common and widespread in the south east, becoming less frequent further north or west. Uncommon in Nottinghamshire but regular at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
April to October.
