Over all length 3mm. A distinctive Barkfly with well marked wings and body.

Habitat

Can be found in a wide range of deciduous shrubs and trees.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
