Description
Body length 7 - 12mm. Very like Nomada flava but the female has silvery rather than yellow hairs on the sides of the thorax. The males are almost impossible to separate.
Habitat
A wide variety of habitats are used but there is a strong association with woodland.
Status and distribution
Fairly common and widespread in England and Wales. Fairly common in Nottinghamshire and recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
April to June.
