Description

Body length 6mm. The entire head, thorax and abdomen are metallic blue/green.

Habitat

Open spaces where its host species of Tripoxylon can be found.

Status and distribution

Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

May to September.
