Description

Over all length 2.3 to 2.5mm. The body is a greenish yellow with red brown head and barring on the abdomen.

Habitat

Found on the undersides of young leaves of Pendulous Birch.

Status and distribution

Widespread but probably under recorded throughout England. Recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

July to September.
