Upcoming public events held at the Netherfield Lagoons Local Nature Reserve, Nottinghamshire.
If you are able to help please come along in the morning. We meet inside the metal gates in the small car park at 09.00hrs. Park on Teal Close and walk along the Ouse Dyke to the footbridge. Follow the Willow Walk and you will arrive at the car park. Please be on time so that we can allocate tools to you. Wear stout shoes and thorn-proof gloves. Today we shall be mowing the Butterfly Bank.
Come and join us on a bird count. This is a good way for beginners to gain experience and to find out more about the site. Meet at the end of Teal Close, opposite the CEM factory gates, at 07.45 hrs.

Lets see how many species of bird we can record in a day. Come along at what-ever time you want and for as long as you want. Just be sure to give your sightings to Pete or, if you miss him, send them to Jenny. Some spring mornings there are a lot of migrants passing through and a bit of drizzle could make some of them stop on the reserve until it passes.
