Upcoming public events held at the Netherfield Lagoons Local Nature Reserve, Nottinghamshire.

    If you would like to help us count the birds at the lagoons meet us at the end of Teal Close, opposite the CEM factory gates. Do not be put off if you are not too sure of your bird identification as its a great way of learning from more experienced birders. Its also a great way to make new friends and you might see some new birds to add to your life list.

    Netherfield Wildlife Group AGM – Wednesday 21st November

    Come to the Netherfield Wildlife Group Annual General Meeting at 19.30 Wednesday 21st November at the Vale Social Club. There will be a short meeting followed by a book sale and quiz.

    If you would like to help with some of the management work come along in the morning. We meet inside the metal gates in the small car park. Park on Teal Close and walk along the Ouse Dyke to the footbridge. Follow the Willow Walk and you will arrive at the car park. Please be on time so that we can allocate tools to you.

    Come and join us on a bird count. This is a good way for beginners to gain experience and to find out more about the site. Meet at the end of Teal Close, opposite the CEM factory gates, at 07.45 hrs.
