Description

Forewing 9 - 11mm. A well marked, greyish species.

Habitat

Prefers flowing water and rivers.

Status and distribution

Fairly common and widespread in most of Britain, with the exception of eastern England. Uncommon in Nottinghamshire and recorded once at Netherfield Lagoons.

Best time to see

April to June.
