Common Nettle Bug
Liocoris tripustulatus
Description
Over all length 4 - 5mm. Dark with three cream to yellow marks (tripustulatis) but variable. The scutellum is cream to yellow and the cuneus (distal part of the forewings) is cream to yellow. Later in the year the new generation may be paler with more pale markings.
Habitat
Mainly associated with nettles.
Status and distribution
Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
