Description
Over all length 2.3 to 4.2mm. Very like Sphaeroderma rubidum, but slightly more elongate, less rounded.
Habitat
Grasslands and waste groung where they feed on thistles and knapweeds.
Status and distribution
Common and widespread in England and Wales , becoming less common towards the north and rare in Scotland. common in Nottingham and at Netherfield Lagoons.

All year.
