Description

 Body length 9 - 11mm. Black and orange/brown with white on the tip of the abdomen and white bands on the antennae.

Habitat

This one was found investigating dead-nettles in an untidy hedgerow.

Status and distribution

There is one record on the NBN website from just north of Winchester, so this is probably a fairly scarce species in Britain.
