Description

Body length 11mm. A black species with a broad yellow band on the abdomen and yellow legs with black femora and yellow bases to the antennae.

Habitat

Woodland edge and hedgerows. The larvae parasitize various noctuid moth caterpillars.

Status and distribution

Little is known about the status and distribution of this insect. There are two records for Netherfield Lagoons.
