Description

Body length 7 - 11mm. There are several similar reddish Nomada bees so it is difficult to identify species with certainty from photographs. I think this one is a female N. striata. 

Habitat

Grasslands where there are a lot of clovers and trefoils.

Status and distribution

Mainly recorded from England, where it is local, and a lot less common in Wales and Scotland.

Best time to see

May to July.
