Description
Wingspan 9 – 13mm. A dark brown moth with two orange spots on each of the fore-wings.
Habitat
Can be found wherever Hogweed grows.
Status and Distribution
Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best Time to See
June and July.
