Description
Forewing length to 15mm. There are several species with the common name Cinnamon Sedge and they are all very similar. The species depicted is, I think, L. flavicornis.
Habitat
Weedy still and slow-flowing water.
Status and Distribution
Common and widespread throughout Britain. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best Time to See
May to November.
