Gedling Conservation Trust manages and protects Netherfield Lagoons Local Nature Reserve, one of the most important wildlife habitats in the Gedling area. The reserve provides a safe haven for birds, insects, plants and many other species, and is enjoyed by visitors throughout the year.
Unlike many organisations, the Trust receives no government or local authority funding, which means we rely on donations and support from the local community to continue our work.
Your support helps us protect this unique nature reserve for wildlife and for future generations to enjoy.
Help Protect the Netherfield Lagoons
Your support helps us care for this special habitat and protect the wildlife that depends on it.

How Your Support Helps
Every donation makes a real difference to the reserve.
Funds raised help us to:
- Maintain footpaths and access routes
- Install and maintain nest boxes for birds and wildlife
- Repair and maintain fences and site infrastructure
- Carry out important habitat management work
- Maintain equipment used by volunteers to care for the reserve
- This work ensures the lagoons remain a thriving habitat for wildlife and a safe, enjoyable place for visitors.
Volunteer With Us
