Description
Wing-span 35 to 40mm. A pale brown moth with three thin wavy lines across its wings and a dusky band enclosed between two of them.
Habitat
Deciduous woods, woodland edge, hedgerows and parks and gardens, on Ash.
Status and distribution
Common and Widespread throughout the southern half of Britain. Less common further north and uncommon in Scotland. Common in Nottinghamshire and at Netherfield Lagoons.
Best time to see
August to October.
